MP defends stance on Jolly Boatman plans

MP Ian Taylor has defended his move to advise the government against intervening in the decision on the Jolly Boatman development.

The Conservative member for Esher & Walton is accused by the Hampton Court Rescue Campaign of being “obstructive and unsupportive” of their efforts to secure a public inquiry on the matter after the emergence of a letter written to communities secretary Hazel Blears in October.
